BMA Bowen Basin Bright Minds Partnership
Our school, and others in Central Queensland are acutely aware that technological advances will change the nature of work for many industries, including career pathways in mining and are eager to get on the front foot. This education partnership is a vehicle to support our communities through this change, engage and encourage students from an early age around STEM and specifically technology, and equip our future workforce with the knowledge and training for the future jobs in mining.
The vision for the partnership is to increase technology awareness and transferrable skills to future proof the talent pipeline and to skill students in light of the 4th Industrial revolution. This partnership will continue over the next five years, delivering future learning for our students as well as professional learning for our teachers.
