All students in years 11 and 12 undertake an educational programme towards either a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) or Queensland Certificate of Individual Achievement (QCIA). Full details regarding the school’s senior schooling curriculum offerings are outlined in our

Senior Capella State High students have a broad range of flexible learning options available to them, including school-based subjects, complementary studies through external providers such as registered training organisations (RTOs) or CQUniversity, and on-the-job learning with a local employer through a school-based apprenticeship or traineeship.
All senior students at Capella State High School must study English and Mathematics. A broad range of QCAA General and Applied subjects are available in our school-based curriculum offerings to suit each senior student’s chosen pathway.
