All students in years 11 and 12 undertake an educational programme towards either a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) or Queensland Certificate of Individual Achievement (QCIA).
Senior Capella State High students have a broad range of flexible learning options available to them, including school-based subjects, complementary studies through external providers such as registered training organisations (RTOs) or CQUniversity, and on-the-job learning with a local employer through a school-based apprenticeship or traineeship.
All senior students at Capella State High School must study English and Mathematics. A broad range of QCAA General and Applied subjects are available in our school-based curriculum offerings to suit each senior student’s chosen pathway.
