Special Education Program
Capella State High School encourages inclusive education practices where all students are able to access the curriculum with their peers in the classroom environment. The Capella State High School teaching team consists of teachers and teacher aides who work together to ensure every student succeeds to their full potential. Each student in need of educational adjustments, along with their parents, works collaboratively with the Head of Special Education Services (HOSES) or Head of Teaching and Learning to set the goals of their Individual Support Plan. These plans enable students to maximize their learning outcomes. Capella State High School’s teaching team is committed to providing a quality, individualised curriculum enabling all students to achieve success in their learning.
